Considered one of the most versatile and exciting musician/composers of Brazilian music today, virtuoso guitarist, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Celso Machado transports his audiences through the richness and diversity of Brazilian music and beyond.

His remarkably innovative compositions are infused with a rich knowledge of the  traditional music of Brazil, such as samba, chôro, baião, & frêvo.

GCC Performing Arts students will work one-on-one with composer and guitarist Celso Machado on his solo, duo, quartet and large ensemble compositions. 

This event is free and open to the public.
Two sessions will be held Wednesday, March 20, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in PAC144, and 2:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. in MU1-101.
