GCC Native American Student Association hosts several Native American cultural events during November. All events are free and open to the public.

Filmer Lailo, from the Zuni Tribe, speaks at noon, Tues., Nov. 27, in the Student Union. Lailo is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Native American Program, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute. He coordinates the Native American Outreach Program and is responsible for providing Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia education and awareness to the 22 Arizona American Indian Tribes, Urban Indian Programs and other Native American Organizations by collaborating and coordinating culturally appropriate workshops and presentations.
