GCC students can find tutors, study groups and help from librarians this week in preparation for final exam period Dec. 10-13.
TXT-A-LIBRARIAN
From now until Dec. 14, get instant help from one of the MCCCD librarians by texting keyword gcclib to 66746 from your cell phone or other mobile device. (Note: Message and data rates apply according to your cell phone provider.) Txt-a-librarian is available 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Mon.-Thurs.; 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday; closed Sat. & Sun.
STUDY FEAST
All GCC students are invited to eat and study at Study Feast, sponsored by Associated Student Government, 6 p.m.-10 p.m., Wed., Dec. 5 in SU-104. Work with on-site tutors, get study materials, or just study with friends. Breakfast food will be offered.
FREE TUTORING
The Math Solution offers free walk-in tutoring for all Mathmatics and Computer Science students, break-out rooms for group study, and a quiet environment for studying.
Visit the Center for Learning for free tutoring in most subjects (math not included). Tutoring is available for all GCC and GCC North students.
Book a 30-minute appointment, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at The Writing Center for help with a specific writing assignment. Sign up at the West Information Desk at HT2, or at the Tutoring Center at GCC North
